Get Ready to Brave the Chill – Costumes, Cold Water and Classic Waihī Fun!

Hosted by Waihī Beach Lifeguard Services Inc., this much-loved Waihī Beach tradition is all about shaking off the cobwebs with a mid-winter dash into the surf. Costumes are encouraged, and there’ll be prizes for best dressed across multiple categories – individuals, whānau, under-12s and team entries.

Entry is by gold coin donation. A safety briefing will be held before the event begins.

Afterwards, head upstairs to The Deck Kitchen & Bar or enjoy a warming mulled wine and snack at the Club.
